Transport back in time in our Royal Room and learn about Elora's rich history with local oral history lecture superstar, Al Koop.

This month's lecture: "The Roaring 20s & Dirty 30s" Al will share how Elora rebounded after the first world war and the limits of prohibition, and reveal the sense of hope and prosperity during that time. He’ll also share first hand accounts of daily life during that period from from famed Elora resident, Dorothy Jefferies Start; and of course, he'll share a little insight into how Elora fared vs its neighbour and sometimes rival, Fergus.
