Downton Abbey Cocktail Class

Step back in time and enter the golden era of the 1920s and the world of Downton Abbey!

On the evening of Thursday, April 10th, from 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM, The Elora Distilling Company King George Bar invites you to an event fit for the Crawleys!

Channel your inner Lady Mary or Mr. Carson, attire yourself in your best Downton Abbey or 1920s inspired costume, and come live the opulence of the era. Enjoy the sounds of the age and let us transport you to the enchanting world of Downton Abbey.

We are offering an exclusive cocktail creation class, where you will learn to craft three classic cocktails using the official Downton Abbey cocktail guide. Each cocktail will feature a twist of modernity, infusing our locally sourced, world-class spirits from our own distillery.

The class fee is $65.00 per person, plus tax. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required in advance. 50% (39.50 plus tax) will be paid online when booking. The remaining 50% (39.50  plus tax and gratuity) will be paid immediately following the class in the retail store of the distillery. 

Please note, attendees must be 19 years or older.

Our event coincides with the reign of George V, the same period when Downton Abbey is set. Our King George Bar, inspired by classic hotel lobby bars and cocktail lounges, is adorned with limestone dating back to the 1900s, setting the perfect ambiance for the evening.

The event commences at 7:30 PM, and we kindly ask you to dine before arrival as we will not be serving meals. However, an optional charcuterie board for two can be ordered.

Safety is of utmost importance, so we urge you to arrange for a designated driver or an alternative means of transportation. We have a zero-tolerance policy for intoxicated attendees. To ensure everyone’s safety, if you wish to drive after the event, your beverages can be bottled to take home.

Secure your spot online where a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The balance will be settled after the event in-store.
